iPhone Apple Sports App Notifications

I like the Apple Sports app except for the frequent notification sounds, such as when a goal is scored. I don't see a setting for that in the app, and the app doesn't appear in Settings > Notifications, so I can't mute it from there.

Am I overlooking a setting somewhere?

Hah, i was coming here to post that this app misses so many notifications. Today my baseball team got smoked 12-2, and i only got notifications for maybe 3 runs scored, and all were at the beginning of the game.
