The Problem: SSD is not available not in OS X nor BootCamp Win8.1
Situation: in October 2014 I had upgraded my Late 12 iMac 27 with Apple's original 256Gb SSD and rebuild my storage system into Fusion Drive. In Feb 2015 after Parallels update my Mac was frozen and fusion drive was in offline status after reboot. When I check it from Disk Utility it shows 1Tb only (HDD capacity). I found that if I had peel off SATA cable from HDD and start the system without it my SSD become available through Disk Utility. When I turn HDD back to cable and reboot my Fusion Drive rebuild back with no loss of data. From February till April there was 5-10 times when i repeat the procedure after freezing. So I made a decision to remove Fusuion Drive, Check SMART status of both HDD and SSD and Secure Erase my drives.
I did back up of my data by Time Machine
I have removed Corestorage volume
I checked SMART status - it was perfect for both drives.
I proceed Secure Erase on HDD - ok!
I start Secure Erase from USB Stick with 10.10.3 OSX Setup and my Mac freeze again at 20-30%
And after reboot there was no any SSD in OS X.
I have make a BootCamp partition and install Windows 8.1 on it.
In both SATA channels Device Manager showed Apple HDD and something with no name, but Drive Manager did not show anything except HDD
I got Acronis Disk Director tryout and check my drives with it with no result.
So It looks like Windows know that there is something on SATA 1 channel but could not mount it because of problem.
OSX is only Disk Utility and Disk warrior both show nothing about SSD
Any suggestions how to solve my problem?
