I see quite a few performance specs for the 2011 MPB Apple 128 GB SSD, but very few references for the 256 GB, and more specifically, the 512 GB SSDs.

Can anyone point me to some stats?

Awesome. Thanks for posting!

I was surprised to see the 512 tested better in most areas than the 256. I compared to the 128 values at http://www.barefeats.com/mbps02.html and if we were talking apples-apples, it looks like the 256/512 do better than the 128 on small random files, but not as well on large sequential files.

However, I'm not very confident these tests are fully comparable. Any chance you have specs on the 128?

All the drives Apple uses are from the same Toshiba Series.

IIRC, the Toshiba drive used benches the best overall figures with the (edit I meant 128 and not 256; sorry!). My 128 runs similar

Keep in mind that benchmarks for SSDs are misleading, and the speed of a factory SSD to an aftermarket SSD is even more confusing.
