Only an Apple store employee would know and I doubt they can say.

Regardless of how many they have, it probably won't be enough, especially with the super lame new activation process introduced last year when the 3G went on sale.

Not to mention, even if each store gets 200 of them, are you really going to want to get in line at 5am and wait until 9-10am to get it on launch day?

I thought the activation process is different this year. You can acitvate in store or at home

Im not camping out but I will be there at 4:30-5 am

Every market gets different stock. So stock by me (NY) had stock for 4 days until the original 2G sold out. The 3G, I believe, never sold out..and if it did, we got stock like 3 days later.

The 3G S will be heavily stocked I believe because not everyone is upgrading to this model.

Now a little apple store in the sticks of PA wont get as much.

You can also check the apple website for your store and check the next day availability for phones

to tell you the truth, i'm going to my apple store tomorrow to pick up a case (I have 2 already haha) and PS crystal film.

that's the stuff that sold out the past 2 years...accessories
