Apple Store 6 Plus Walk In Chances

Just wanted to question..
Has ANYBODY had any luck picking up a 6 Plus by just walking in, but right when the store opens?? Anybody?!

yes...that's was only way for me to get three iphone 6 PLus phones...Online never worked for me.....
 
None of these "checker" sites reported available PLus version for me.
Store receives small qty of the phones that never gets reported "in stock" because they go so fast...
 
If you check everyday and when you see one at the Apple Store you pre order it you will get it.
 
i ordered my 6 plus got it on launch day yet on the final day of my 14 day return i went into the sprint store and they had gold 128 6 plus so i was lucky enough to upgrade from 64 to 128 with no problem
 
The website will only show available for in store pickup if they have 5 or more in stock. Meaning your local store could have 4 sitting there all day, or it could have none. The only way to check is to walk in. They won't even tell you over the phone because they're just checking the same stock inventory we are. Went to two apple stores today before work, no luck, though other people had luck (they had one ATT 6+ at one store, I'm looking for verizon though, and that att phone was NOT listed as available on the site).
 
Where are you? Chances are decent in NYC. They restock every few days at the major stores.

The line in front of the Apple store is because they want a line. They make you wait in a pre-order line to get your phone and then they only have a couple of people working on iphones with activation's. They made me wait in line for an hour to get a off contract phone with one person in front of me. I got fed up and left and got it from Verizon.
 
use the tracker thats how i got my 6 plus, i got tired of waiting for preorder so i got one on 10/2 and my original arrives today lol guess i couldn't wait another 7 days

That is what I figured. I have had my 6 from the first day and hard to think they are that far backed up!
 
Well, there's only one Best Buy that has my 'desired' 6+ SG 64GB in the entire state of Florida; (on the 'other' coast for me.... :( ). Does that iDevice checker site even include Apple stores? The nearest one is currently in Brandon which is almost 2 hours away, that is until next week when the one in Sarasota opens....
 
Well.. I got to the Apple store in Sherman Oaks about 10 minutes till open. There were about 15 people in line. So I decided to wait. They opened and the specialist went one by one, and to my surprise they had 1 iPhone 6 Plus Silver At&t but.... 16GB...

SO I jumped yes super excited but waited about 1 1/2 hours in line. That time made me think if I could really live with 16GB for now.. UGH.
So I'm at home now with the iPhone but still doubting my purchase.
Why buyers remorse!

The Specialist that was ringing me up did say if I wanted to exchange it within the 14 days, I would have to return the iPhone first and wait one day for my next plan to reset? AHHH!!
 
you should have not bought a 16g if that is not what you wanted...I live in SOCAL as well, and have not found any at a store...then again I have not been really checking since I preorder which is a pain...I would like to know if anybody has a found an iphone plus on that checker website locally here in socal??
 
I just went to main Apple store in SF and they said I can switch from vzw and sign up for tmobile jump as well. I saw a line there too so I hope it lightens up by December
