If you buy an iPhone from the apple store do they force you to activate it in store or can you tell them that your just gonna activate it at home?

You must activate it in-store unless there's a major problem with the activation servers (not likely).

Phone 1. Purchased at Best Buy- he gave me option. I left it in box and did it at home.

Purchase 2 at Apple - forced me to activate in store.

I could be wrong but if u r paying the full price then I think you can tell them you don't want them to activate it for you but for the special prices they have to.
