Apple Store App - recommend practice purchase

I highly recommend everyone do a practice purchase (or purchase an item to return) before 12:01 10/27.

I thought i had everything in order and went to practice buying an Apple TV I plan to return. Out of nowhere old address (some 8-9 years old) appeared and I received an error message after hitting the black Apple Pay button. It wrote ""Shipping Address incorrect". There is only one address associated iwth my Apple ID yet these old addresses came up.

On hold now with Apple to (hopefully) sort this out.

This shouldn't be an issue for people who've been pre-approved, though, as entering/checking the billing and shipping information were part of that process.

I tried purchasing the X, noticed "Add to Bag" is greyed out. Does anyone know in the past, can you just stay on that last screen of the Apple Store app, and the "Add to Bag" will turn green/be pressable? Or do you have to close and relaunch app and start from the beginning?

Typically Apple.com and the apple Store app will go down tomorrow at some point in the evening. No one will have access to them untill after 12:01 am PST when apple.com and the Apple Store app will go live then.
