When apple puts on a screen protector, do they guarantee no dust? I was looking at my phone today and noticed a few specs of dust under the Spigen screen protector I put on when I first got the phone. I tried lifting the screen protector to get the dust and introduced more dust and a fingerprint. So I pulled that one off and put the other one on (box came with two) and I ended up with more dust than the first one. I cleaned the phone thoroughly and used the sticker to catch dust but some must have gotten on it in the short amount of time it took me to put the applicator on the phone.

I suck at this and always have. I was thinking of just going to the Apple Store and having them put one on. But if they won’t guarantee no dust, then I might as well just buy mor Spigen and try not to be so damned neurotic next time.

Why don't you ask the Apple Store? 😗

You should put the screen protector on in the bathroom after a hot shower. The steam will keep the dust out.

I did that, both times. It probably did make some difference but not enough, apparently. I even left the shower running while putting it on.

Ah. I’d try the store. I’m sure they will reinstall one if they get dust underneath.

I’m not sure it’s corporate policy but my local Apple Store staff would keep reinstalling the screen protector until I was satisfied it was dust-free with good alignment

Its almost impossible to be 100% debris free, but generally yes Apple stores will replace it until your happy with it (within reason of course). If thers a bit of dust underneath and its causing a bubble or such, they will definitely replace it.
