Apple Store Background Software - kiosk like

What is the name of the software that runs as part of the desktop on the macs at the apple stores.

I do not believe anyone here knows.

It is custom made by apple, we know that much.

Docktop appears to do something similar...haven't used it myself though.

is there way or program like docktop that will display a system message to users.

Last time I was in the Apple store, I asked the guy and he said its a custom written applescript they distribute to the stores
