Hi All

Im going to purchase the new top end 27'' iMac but would like the 2Gb 6970M GPU. Can i do this online only or can i go into an Apple store and buy it from them? Going to use my partners student discount before she leaves uni for good!

Online this will cost £1729.01 without discount, so do students get 12- 15% off or minus the VAT entirely? I know there are threads on this but there is never a specific answer!

This will be my first Mac as i have had enough of the Windows 7 OS!

Some Apple Stores have the different configs all you can do is to call them and ask if they have them instock.

The best bet is http://www.apple.com/uk/retail/coventgarden/ as it's one of the largest stores in the UK.
