Apple Store Displays

What happens to all the seasonal displays when they are done? I'd kill to get my hands on one of the snowmen displays from xmas.

All of the displays and advertising boards get sent back to Apple (i asked at the Regents Street store). I want any of them but they just said no

I wonder if they just toss them out once they arrive at apple. You never see a display reused.

More than likely the staff get to buy it at a discounted price.

I worked at a university Apple Store and we just gave them to whoever claimed it first. I ended up getting all sorts of stuff, I still have it packed away somewhere, I should get it out and do some contests for the people that want it. I know we never had to send any of it back, but maybe it's different nowadays. Never hurts to ask though.
