Here we go again. It's routine maintenance, and happens frequently on Saturday nights/Sunday mornings. There will be no new products when the site comes back up. There are dozens of threads like this. If you read through them, you'll find Apple never adds new products during this maintenance. It's worldwide.

the maintenance usually happens close to updates of some sorts.
It happened frequently near wwdc. Then the site was up constantly until a week before Mountain Lion. So, it could be something coming out not so far from now....but its probably just something trivial. Based on the rumours we read, August is a bit too soon for the new iMacs. But I cross my fingers as always.

Probably new iPods if there's any new hardware.

If not new iPods, then it's just minor maintenance. Apple's not going to release any major new hardware in the middle of BTS season.

Grammar fail! Does not have NO plans means they do. Who is your inside source for the 100% certain 17" rMBP plans that you say Apple has?
