I think the site is screwed. When I did it, the website gave me the message, "It's not just you! store.apple.com looks down from here." The Apple Store is working fine here.

Oh you know what I mean, I meant literally as in "it's not down for maintenance, or to add a product", it's *literally* down as in "it's down because of overload or something".

That site is bogus. It reports that store.apple.com/us is down, but it's up. Same browser, same MBP.
