Apple Store education question

was looking into a couple of purchases for the school I work at.
The Apple Store for education doesn't recognise my school- is this a common problem?
I'm based in the U.K.

If you're using web, contact Apple with chat option and tell them you're a teacher. I did it and I didn't have any problems.

I would say no for the US, but know nothing of how the schools are listed for other countries within the Education Store. The advice above is the best.
