I study architecture (year 2) over here in Belgium and I'm working on an essay about 'underground architecture' ... Yes, literally, under the ground.
So, what better way to combine my profession and my hobby, and make one of the examples the Apple retail store in Manhattan, right?
I've been there last summer and I must say, both the architecture of the store and the products inside (!
) have made a lasting impression on me.
Now, I would like to have some more info on who designed it, the construction process, etc ...
Can anyone point me in the right direction?
Yes, I've consulted Google and for the most part, I get a lot of information about Apple Inc., but not about the architectural aspect of the store itself.
So any help would be greatly appreciated!
