Better late than never. Magnolia Park Town Center appears like it will never get built. If it is going into the old Glamour Shots location, I don't see any reason why they can't have it open late this fall.

No Apple Store For Greenville SC

The place mentioned on ifoAppleStore is going to be an Auntie Anne's Pretzels.

I spoke to the leasing agent for Haywood Mall at Simon (property manager) - no lease has been signed nor are there open or even potentially open spaces for Apple at Haywood Mall at this time.

I spoke with the Menin Group about Magnolia Park - no lease has been signed and construction isn't set o resume any time soon on any part of the development.

I spoke to Greenville Planning Commission - Apple has not approached them about development in downtown Greenville.

I spoke to the top three developers in Greenville - Hughes, Furman, Caine - none have been approached about property for Apple.

Apple Store Confirmed in Greenville, SC

Apple has posted under the career section of apple.com for managers for a NEW HAyWOOD MALL LOCCATiON. They also posed on Craigslist under Business Management 01/12/2010 for staff members. HORRAY! About time.

Apple will be going into the tenant space where the Childrens Place is currently located. The Childrens Place will be relocating to a different part of the mall. Apple should be open by mid-Summer.

Did you honestly think Simon was going to tell you straight up whether Apple was coming or not? The answer would be no. Job listings now confirm Apple is coming to Haywood Mall.

I'm suprised that greenville got an apple store before columbia did and i wonder what's going to happen to that apple reseller in Downtown G'ville

I will be there around 9am or sooner if I can get in the mall. Coming from North Spartanburg area! This will be my second opening. I was there for Charlotte.

Handy! I'll be in Greenville this weekend and was hoping to be able to pick up a bumper for my iPhone 4 (we have them on this side of the pond but only in black).

Saw that they were planning on opening one and now it turns out it's opening Saturday, the day I fly in :)

Hopefully iplace will remain in business. :) Oh and i'm not surpised Greenville got an Apple Store before Columbia. Greenville has more higher-end national retailers than Columbia like Pottery Barn and J. Crew.

Cool, the store manager there used to work at the store near me (a few states north). Go easy on 'em. :D

Any word on if they will have iphone4's in stock?

And if so is it a first come first serve basis or has a list been created.

Looks nice! A few people that work at the store near me got to fly down there to help out for the grand opening. That's kinda cool. :)
