i'm looking to pick one up but i actually do use the force touch to turn on battery saver, apple store folks insist XR has force touch its just disabled because its a demo model. meanwhie youtubers said Xr doesnt have force touch. whos right?

It seems with updates they are adding more 3D Touch usability via Haptic Touch on the Xr. Beta 12.1.1 now uses Haptic Touch for Notifications which is new. Perhaps they will continue to add functionality via Haptic Touch to mimic 3D Touch.
