Probably means nothing but....who knows.

Pre-orders tomorrow?
iPad 3?

:p

I would expect that it is much more likely a fix for the increased shipping dates.

For maintenance, will be back in about an hour

Seriously though, they need an announcement for some new hardware soon...this is ridiculous!

It would be hilarious if Apple just announced the next iPhone on a random day and time.

I think they should release it in the most random and unconventional way possible and then see how fast it takes to hit the news circuits.....but that won't happen.

Although it would be an interesting game to play if the people up at Apple HQ were bored and wanted to entertain themselves. I know I would ;)

But my guess is it wouldn't take long at all. There are always people accessing the Apple website and they'd notice and send a tip to some blog/news outlet.

I Don't Think

We are going to see any new stuff....It's just the usual updating the site for you message. Mind you, Who knows? I don't know how long it's been down, but just checked again and still offline.

My Apple guru doesn't start work until 11AM UK time, and I never order without speaking to her first (she gives me discount if she can) sp it's no biggie, but if it's offline for many hours we MIGHT see something. I can't see the 5 suddenly appearing on the site without press release etc. but Steve Jobs isn't doing them any more so.......Get your credit cards ready, just in case :D

very weird probably just normal changes....strage shipping times on all of apples products apart from the mac mini....or it could mean more :p :)
