There's NEVER been a midnight MBP release. It's always during the day time OF a release.

the Intel announcement is at 10a Pacific time. I read it's after that - BUMMER! I'm in Thailand - so that's 1am the 25th for me

So you get the new goods a day later, ouch. I have to wait for my financial aid to come through to grab my new MBP and it looks like I'll be going 15" now since the 13" is Intel graphics only.
