Ehh, it'll probably go down soon, so they can add the new iPhone content. Well, thats IF they show a new iPhone today. That date could possibly change because of the leak. Apple can have a show anytime they like and just invite people.

I think it's a fairly safe bet that they won't be available until Steve Jobs announces them.

we are about 20 minutes away from the Keynote starting, Steve Jobs will announce new products today and apple.com will update when it's necessary.

Edit:
if your waiting for the store to go down so that you can pre-order the new iPhone as soon as you can, keep in mind that those who pre-ordered the iPad and last years 3GS iPhone did not receive their product any sooner than the guy who ordered it by the deadline date.
