Apple store lines this weekend

So here in Massachusetts, we have a tax free weekend.

I needed a new apple keyboard because of a failed cleaning attempt left my old keyboard non-functioning.

When I get to my local apple store, lo and behold a line to get in. I ask the cop (real cop not a mall cop) standing by the door what's going on. They're waiting in line for a sales associate to buy a computer.

Crazy, long line to buy a mac. I believe you can easily do this online and not pay the tax.

I was lucky, because the cop told me since I'm just buying a keyboard I can walk in and do that, no need to wait in the long (read hours wait) line

Ours doesn't cover computers, but this is why I don't shop on tax-holidays.

That's crazy. Might as well buy from Amazon or MacMall or somewhere else if they're looking to save about $50.

That manner of high-fiving, congratulatory backslapping makes me want to vomit all over myself.
