Today I went to my local apple store to buy my friend a $25 iTunes gift card for his 18th birthday. I went to ring up my card and got into a conversation with the cashier about the long lines and the 3g iPhone. He laughed and we talked about the app store and my friend's new iPhone. He asked if I had checked out the apps and if I used it myself. I just merely told him,"Oh I chose to hack my ipod, theres some awesome apps on installer." He looked rather shocked and just sort of gave a half laugh and said, "Oh, umm, well have a nice day sir."
I didn't even bother to tell him I had a hackintosh at home. If I did that they probably would have pressed the red button under the counter that signaled Steve Jobs himself to come to the store and subdue me. Anyway, this little event at the apple store made my day. Anyone else have any funny or odd events at their local apple store?
