Apple Store Opening at Columbia Mall (Columbia, MD)

The Columbia Mall Apple store is opening this Saturday (9/23) morning. Between heading up there to check it out and getting my new camera, I've got an exciting day planned. I'll try to take some pics with my old camera if I see anything exciting. Although, this being Columbia, it will look like your typical suburban mall store.

Didn't Apple just say that this would be the first-ever Apple Store to include some "new design features"?

this is exciting. one of the drawbacks of going to columbia was that they didn't have an Apple store. now they have pretty much everything Tyson's Corner has (in terms of big name stores) except the actual mall is smaller.

i'll check that out next time i'm up there. thanks for the heads up!

What fun! If I didn't have to work on Saturday, I'd go, too! A friend who lives in Laurel was all excited when I told her about the new store, so she signed up to be alerted to when it would be opening....wouldn't you know she is going out of town this weekend so she'll miss the grand opening, too!
