Apple Store opening Modesto, CA?

My girlfriend heard that Modesto, CA is going to be getting an Apple Store, but I can't seem to find anything online. Anybody in this neck of the woods hear this?

yes...

yes...i am a student at modesto junior college and there is a bulletin with job offers by the library and theres a poster with job oppenings for the new apple store in modesto at the vintage fair mall...

The Village also boasts an Apple Store, one of only about 250 worldwide, filled with iPods, iMacs, iPhones and all the other Apple products, services and accessories. It also features an appropriately high-tech staff, from the concierge (greeter) to the genius (troubleshooter).

The Apple Store, which was kept under wraps for months, will open its doors to the public for the first time when the festivities at The Village kick off at 6 p.m.
