Apple store or VZW store?

So i bought my 4S at the VZW store on the 15th, 13 days ago.

it just turned off and died on me. battery was at least half full. it will not turn on no matter what.

where do i bring it?

Hold down the power+home buttons for around 15 seconds and around that time the phone will restart and problem solved.

If that doesn't fix it then take to an Apple store.
