Apple Store pick up delay ?

Has anyone got that situation before ?

This year Apple Watch order is nightmare , all the model split to Nov delivery as soon as they open , but I was lucky to get mine Graphite SS 45mm and will be pick up on release day at Apple Store .

Am I will be 100% safe when I chose Apple Store pick up ? Does they delay or postpone pick up day ?
