I’m picking up both mine and the wife’s phone Friday morning at the Apple store, but don’t plan to take her phone with me. I assume they will have to activate her phone before I leave, but that just means she will have to use WiFi until I hand her the new one right? Just making sure I don’t have to have her phone with me physically. And I’m the account holder with ATT, so shouldn’t need my actual wife at the store right?

Also, has anyone ever picked up two phones with different time slots? Mine is for 8:00 and her slot is at 8:30. Just wondering if I’ll have to get back in line or if they might be nice and do them both at once.

If I remember correctly, you can ask them to push the "Activate Later" option. They usually ask you if you want to activate it now or activate it later. I did this last year and the previous year where I had them hit the activate later so that I can activate it when I get home.
