All iPads Apple Store pickup

Hi,

I am wondering if you use the Apple Store pickup option over the internet, if you have to pickup the iPad within 24 hours? I've read this somewhere but couldn't find it again.
I am currently on holidays and would like to pick it up in 1 week if it is possible.

Not in my case. I ordered an iPad 4 for Apple Store pickup a few days ago. Got a nice text message and email telling me when it was available...and that I had until 12/23 to pick it up.

I have a coworker that ordered hers on a Monday and didn't go to pick it up until the weekend.

if you do an online reserve (an ipad mini for example at 10:00 pm) you have something like 10 days. If you actually buy something that they regularly have and pick in store pick up, they hold it for like 3 weeks. Just call your local store, each one may be different.
