Apple Store Pickup

If someone buys me a computer as a gift through the Apple website and use this CC and reserves it for in-store pick up, is there a way for me to pick it up or would they need to be there? I'm asking because I'm not able to have it shipped (don't trust the people in my leasing office regardless of signature conf.)
