Apple Store question.

My White 16GB WiFi only model has the yellow tint issue, I have an appointment at the Apple Store wednesday to get it exchanged. 1 question I was wondering, since it is being swapped anyway... can I swap it for a Black iPad of the same model?

If I can't actually just have them swap it. Can I just return the white iPad, with the box and all and buy the black one at the store? (I'm asking because I bought it off Apple.com not in-store)

Only thing I don't know if they refund u right away, or does it take a few days, or give u store credit? Another thing to consider before heading out there.

Refund right away back to credit card. I did this last Friday. I bought mine from Apple.com and returned to local store.

I'd be perfectly happy with store credit, as I'd use it to buy another iPad.. love the iPad, hate the yellow tint.

yep. you can return/exchange it. i did this and the genius was explaining to me since i was concerned about the charges on ny card. exchanges don't, unless there is a difference in price. he returned my old ipad in one transaction and within that transaction, purchased/exchange the new one. just think of as applying coupons.

I am getting a refund on my new iPad (which I have already swapped out because it was faulty) because I want a 64 GB now.

What's wrong with white?

Nothing, it's just my iPhone 4S is white, my iPad 2 is white, my girlfriends iPad is white. I love the look of white, but if given the option.. I'd like to swap for black. If I can't I'm perfectly fine with it.
