I brought in my MacBook Pro Retina to get its display as well as the battery including the housing replaced exactly one week ago. The genius said they would get back to me in 3-5 days ... nothing yet. I actually called the apple store yesterday and he had no idea and had to ask for a "status request" but he hasnt gotten back to me yet either.

Does an Apple Store actually repair macbooks themselves or are they sending them in? Any idea how long it usually takes to get it fixed?

I dont wanna call again and ask cuz they are repairing it for free so i dont wanna oush my luck lol but as it involves a 2 hours drive to get there id like to plan ahead at least a bit ...
