Apple Store Reservations

I reserved an iPhone 16GB Plus at my local Apple Store and planning to purchase it outright. However I will be outta the country for a business trip during the pick up date(Sept 19) and will return on the 22nd.

If I give my friend my email account to verify the confirmation email and my Apple ID, will he be able to pick up the phone for me? Or is there any way around it?

I haven't paid for the phone yet.

My reservation confirmation email says I need to come with 2 pieces of ID. I'm in Canada and your conditions may be different. Check your email.

Well... how much does your friend look like you? How much does he look like you if he wears a hat and dark glasses, assuming the Apple store employee is REALLY busy?

My reservation is for 11... which makes it likely I'll miss my home delivery!
