Apple Store "Shipping Method" changed to "Merge In Transit" ? what does that mean ?

so not only did my (mac mini BTO+keyboard) order get delayed for a week but the shipping method changed to "Merge In Transit" anybody can explain what it means ?

even more important is it a good or bad sign ?

i suspect that the (german) keyboard might be the reason ..like it's gonna be added to my package in holland or something like that.... i really hope it get shipped on monday ... it's gonna be damn close if shipped next friday...monday monring in a week i should be studying again...arghh

(good news: i got to see a shuffle first hand today...looks very good... very tempting)

This just means that they are collecting all your boxes together at the depot in the Netherlands. Some of your items will be coming from different countries so they all get put together and posted to you at the same.

Bit weird isn't it. I'm going to order my 20 inch screen and G5 seperately so they don't have to wait at the depot and I get the boxes a bit earlier.

The mac mini is gorgeous there was one at my local pcworld - good choice !

i wonder how many keyboards they have lying around waiting for the rest of the order... i just found that in some german forums they were quite a few with the same "Merge in transit"

what even annoys me more is that some people with a est. shipping date in march got they BTO mac minis with the same setup _2 weeks earlier_ ... looks like mine got somehow forgotten
