Apple store - slow to ship?

I ordered an Apple Airport Extreme on the Apple Edu store on Sunday, but it's still not shipped. It still says "Shipping Estimate - 24hrs". Anyone know if that's the normal speed of service on the Apple Store?

Normal speed can range from extremely fast to outrageously slow

I ordered a Mac Pro on 31st August, shipped 11 days after and is supposed to arrive on September 24th (!!)
Meanwhile, someone else from London ordered on the same day and received it two days before mine was even shipped

Got my MP one week after placing the order.

No issues from me on any Apple store order, always have been reasonably fast.

Okay well it just shipped, so actually it was within 48hrs of ordering rather than 24hrs as stated when I ordered
