When I was at my local Apple Store at the St. John's Town Center in Jacksonville, Florida, (This was my first Apple Store visit ever) I noticed the staff wearing cool badges that I think were black with the Apple logo on them. Does anyone know where I could get one? I'm not trying to impersonate them or anything, just want one because they're really cool. Thanks :p

Here's an example of one (Look at the Apple guy) http://www.apple.com/retail/onetoone/

not property of apple . . .

the badges/holders are not property of apple, but they break so easily that you may never see one for sale. when I worked there, mine broke about 5 or six times in the year i was an employee

if you really want one, I found mine . . . it has some cracks where it broke and was superglued back together . . . let me know

Sweet badges

Yes, those would be cool to wear around the office. I'm sure they are a commercial product -- we would just have to find who makes them and buy direct.

They are those Apple Store badge holders, which are probably property of Apple. Employees have to return them to Apple if they ever leave employment.
Made up "facts" don't make you any more knowledgeable or impress anyone.

I still have mine... haven't had an Apple paycheck in nearly a year.

Easy now, just becuase you worked for Apple doesn't make you better than everyone else...

All the companies I worked for made me return my badges....

ID badges are generally returned at the end of employment, but the Apple Retail nametags are just that -- it doesn't grant you any access, it doesn't have your full name, or even a photo -- it's just a plastic business card holder, with a clear panel in front of an injet-printed nametag, on a lanyard.

I could print 'Steve Jobs' on it and it would be just as official as the one with my name. That said, Apple employees with photo ID (employee number) badges have to return them upon cessation of employment -- but very few ARS staffers get those badges.

^^^^

The companies I've worked for, anything having to do with badges, even the badge holder with a company name an logo on it only, is their property and is to be returned to them.

Apple, I guess, is different.

Id Badges Id cards

You can buy all sorts of idsupplies at www.idsupply.co and print any card you want. You can purchase anything at that site and they do custom work too but don't try to make an ID Card that is not for your official use. The HR department in the store will gladly issue you another badge if it breaks or is lost. Have your card printer on a composite pvc card for maximum life. Straight PVC cards are not as durable.

The company above, www.idsupply.co , also sells the id card badge holders and id lanyards and id reels. They've been in business for over 30 years, go to there site and give them a call. They are real experts in anything to do with id cards.

Yo sport that thing - everywhere - you will get mad girls.

All chicks dig mall retail employee.

Think of the possibilities.. sabarro, gap, radio shack, endless......!
