I figured some people might get a kick out of this. It's a video of Steve Jobs giving the viewer a pre-launch tour of Apple's newest concept: The Apple Store.


My favorite part is when he tells us about the 3rd party devices they would be selling in the store, such as MP3 players. That didn't last for long.....the iPod was also introduced in 2001.
 
Times have changed, just look at the application selection, its shrank incredibly and rumor has it that apple will be moving fullying to the mac app store model so buying boxed software from an apple store may be a thing of the past
 
Didn't Gateway open stores after this? I remember going to one years back.

Gateway stores were prior. It's one of the reasons most often cited by those who said APple retail would fail.
