Apple Store (US) Got Updated!

Hmm. Not too sure about that new layout. It may be best viewed in widescreen, but on my PowerBook it renders like this, which doesn't look right...

apples store new design!

the apple store just got a new design check it out : apple.com/store

I have to admit; I enjoy the new design, layout, and color scheme. It's really beautiful and the feel is relaxing--perfect for making people buy things.

I like the new look.

About the only change that I noticed (product wise) is that the 4GB iPhones are gone. I have officially sat on the fence too long. Oh well...

that doesnt look the same...have you tried in safari? it looks like you might have font enlarging turned on?

i love the new look. definitely like the new blue :D

Doesn't the new layout make it look like something is missing?

yes, leopard is missing!!

Not only is Leopard missing, but Tiger's missing as well from the main Apple Store page. You can still find Tiger by looking in the Mac Software section and it still says shipping within 24 hours.

As many of us at the MR forums suspect October 26 to be the release date, hopefully they announce a release date by Friday. Maybe even today.:D

I'm on a PowerBook using Camino and I'm having no problems.

I like the way the new store looks. It's clean and it seems like it just seems overall easier to navigate.

Edit: Just for the hell of it, I typed in "Leopard" in the store search box and I got the following:
Looking for Mac OS X Leopard?
Mac OS X 10.5 Leopard

The next version of the world's most advanced operating system is coming in October 2007. Sign up for our email list to stay updated on Leopard and other new Apple products.
It also gives you a little field to input your email. Then when I put in my email (I want to know first when Leopard coming out :p ) It said
Thank you for your request. Emails you requested will be sent when more information becomes available. Until then, you can preview some of Leopard’s exciting new features.
It looks as if they're prepping the site for the release. Did they do this with other OS release? I can't remember (I have terrible memory)
