You cannot request a store Apple open stores in major population centres in "premium" locations or malls.

30 miles is actually pretty good for the UK. Many people are a lot further than that...

Detroit (has 3) -> London Ontario -> Toronto(has 3)

30 miles? is this a joke? i have to go 2 1/2 hour drive

My closest Apple store is about 3500km away. That is, if I stay within the boundaries of my country. About 1350km away if I cross into the US.
