Over there....
so awhile ago i brought a 15" adc studio display for £5 in unknown condition, of cores it was faulty, witch i narrowed down to the main circuit board was fried, after i replaced it and the display seemed to work fine but if i use it for any length of time it will press the power button randomly and the longer i use it the quicker it will press the button, what do you think, faulty touch buttons

Just by chance, have you tried cleaning the buttons with a good plastic cleaner?
