Has anyone had their studio display converted to a vesa mount? I have a height/tilt model and want to convert it to a vesa mount

I scheduled an appointment online at my local store, but they couldn’t tell me how much the process costs. Does anyone know the current cost and also is this something they can do quickly while I wait? Or did you have to pick it up at a later date?

It's a straightforward process - carefully cut adhesive to remove screen, unscrew original mount, screw on VESA mount, clean screen of original adhesive residue, clean case of original adhesive residue, mount new adhesive strips on case, attach screen.
Cleaning off the old gunge isn't an instant process, it can be fiddly...

So time-wise it's an hour of painstaking work. As well as the VESA mount, new adhesive strips have to be on hand.
However since it's not an everyday operation, I very much doubt if anywhere is geared up to do it in real-time as you wait.

Cost-wise $120 has been mentioned, but I've no idea if that is what is actually charged...
