Apple sues HyperMac battery maker

How can Apple do this? Hypermac buys the full power adapter and then uses the power cord connected to it. I could see their point if they were making them apart from Apple, but all MagSafe connected that HyperMac uses are APPLE PRODUCED.

As with all Engadget stories, there's always a flamewar going on in the comments.

The MagSafe design is patented, but I didn't know that the connectors HyperMac are using are Apple-made. Maybe they're breaking some terms of agreement or something. Personally, I don't care that much, but it's an interesting story.
