I don't know what happened. I try to ask a question in the Apple Support Community. It asks me to sign in. So I do, using my Apple ID and password. And it used to get me in.
But now, although it acknowledges me by name, it asks me to use a different Apple ID. I thought this might be just an added security feature, so I made up a new ID. But when I submit it the response is that an account already exists with that email address.
Is Apple telling me I need to give them a second email address as well, one email address and ID for non-community use and another email address and ID to be able to get into their support community?
