I called Apple support about my 2nd iPad with backlight bleeding, and they told me that when I go to the genius they will see that my serial number is flagged. Does anybody know what that means?

Probably just that you have previously made an enquiry and they can read the notes on your file so they wont have to go through everything again - they probably will anyway but thats my guess!

It means that the guy at the Genius bar will make a determination based on the date you called, not the date you show up. So if you can't make it to the Apple Store for a month, you will still be able to get a full refund if you so desire.

It might be flagged as stolen or black market, beware........

Why you gotta panic the guy? Totally prolly not it.

I bet they are flagging all those who have inquired about bleeding. I be they wanna get a handle on what is causing the issue.
