I purchased a MacBook Air M1 about a month ago. After using it the display began too look washed out and was leaving a haze of the previous window. I went to a apple store and got it diagnosed. No damage was found. The laptop was sent of to get further inspected and repaired. Does anyone know if I can simply get a new one. Something about paying over 800 and getting a repaired one does fit right with me.

No you can't.

You're getting a brand new display, likely for free under warranty. Nothing is ever guaranteed to be perfect and there could always be something wrong with another new one as well. That's why the warranty and repair services exist.

Playing with contrast slider in accessibility, can make the display look like that.

In my country, I think they have to replace with new product, if they have tried to repair the same defect 3 times.
