Apple Talk Tab missing?

hello there
i am trying to enable apple talk but i went to system preferences and then network and it seems to be missing??am i doing something wrong?i have searched in the "wifi" and the "etheernet" area of the network but there is nothing there!
any ideaS?

Apple Talk was removed in SL (10.6)

if you are trying to get an old printer working by chance then you should read this.

i thought i actually did something wrong
i am not trying to set up sprinter
i am trying to connect to server with my iphoneand iPad
i mean...when i was on snow leopard i could see my iPhone on finders sidebar
now....
there isn't any way?

my Apple products stop @ my computers and i use Android for everything else so i cant help ya there.
