Apple Tech support Hours USA

Hello,

Is Apple tech support in USA 24/7? I have a new iMac27 and called them about a question and answering machine said they were closed. I was under the impression it was 24/7. I also have extended warranty.

No it's like 8/7. (8 hours a day, 7 days a week)
