Apple Tell Me I Won't Receive my iPhone Until Next Week

Just called up Apple Customer Services over here in the UK, and was told I wouldn't receive my iPhone on the day, and I should expect it early next week . Which sucks, seen as I was up at 7AM last Friday and was refreshing the Apple Store page until it was up (about 8.30AM) and got my order in straight away.

When I go to Track my Order on apple.com it says Ships by Oct 14 and is stuck on Processing Items, so naturally I'm getting a bit worried. Has anyone had their dispatch email yet?

They say it to be safe, and then you will be very happy when you get it on friday.
