So I heard a rumor that Apple might discontinue the MBP 17'' versions and maybe even the Mac Pro.
Isn't it sad if that will be the case?
Finally, when all those major DCC companies improve and put their tools on the mac, Apple is starting to lose interest in the creative/ productive fields and rather focuses on consumption (pro-sumer stuff), which is OK but with all the new cash cows which are iPhones, iPads, iPods, why the need to cripple the pro users?
I'm afraid what happened to Final Cut pro will also happen to hardware.
Is Jony Ivy still using a Mac to design Apple products?
On what are the next generation Apple products going to be designed on, PC's, Linux boxes?
It's just really a shame. I hope they won't discontinue the MBP 17'' or the Mac Pro.
