Tomorrow is Halloween, and then November is upon us. Below, we outline what to expect from Apple next month, as the slower holiday season approaches.

iOS-26.2-Beta-Rumored-New-Products-and-More-Feature.jpg

Apple is expected to kick off November by releasing iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1, macOS 26.1, watchOS 26.1, tvOS 26.1, and visionOS 26.1. With beta testing now wrapped up, the updates will likely be released this Monday, November 3 or Tuesday, November 4.

iOS 26.1, iPadOS 26.1, and macOS 26.1 let you choose your preferred look for Liquid Glass. iPadOS 26.1 also reintroduces a version of the Slide Over feature for multitasking, and it expands the Apple Vision Pro app to iPads. With visionOS 26.1, videos in the Spatial Gallery app will show playback controls and video length while in immersive view.

watchOS 26.1 and tvOS 26.1 are minor updates, with bug fixes and performance improvements.

The beta train never stops, with Apple likely to seed the first betas of iOS 26.2, iPadOS 26.2, macOS 26.2, watchOS 26.2, tvOS 26.2, and visionOS 26.2 in the first or second week of November. Apple typically releases the "point-two" updates in mid-December, before Apple's software engineers take time off for the holiday season.

We are still waiting on Apple's promised U.S. passport feature in the iPhone's Wallet app. Apple said the feature is "coming later this year," but it is unclear if it will require iOS 26.2, or if will be enabled with a server-side update.

Earlier this month, Apple updated the 14-inch MacBook Pro, iPad Pro, and Vision Pro with its next-generation M5 chip, and previous rumors have indicated the company still planned to announce at least a few additional products before the end of the year. However, as we head into November, it is unclear if that will still happen.

The following Apple products have at one point been rumored to be updated in 2025:

The following products are rumored to launch in late 2025 or early 2026:Apple rarely announces new products in November, but it is not unheard of. Apple introduced the first 16-inch MacBook Pro in November 2019, and the first Macs with the M1 chip debuted in November 2020. Apple has even announced a few products in December over the years, such as multiple Mac Pro models, the Pro Display XDR, and the AirPods Max.

HomePod mini and Apple TV inventory is starting to dwindle at select Apple Store locations around the world, as often happens ahead of new models.

There is one big caveat, though. Apple delayed its more personalized version of Siri until next year — it is expected to launch with iOS 26.4 in March — so perhaps it is holding off on releasing a new HomePod mini until then. Apple's long-rumored smart home hub was reportedly delayed until the all-new Siri is ready. However, this is just a theory.

Apple's professional video editing tool Final Cut Pro often receives a major update in November, and we recently reported that the company is... Click here to read rest of article

HomePod mini: S9 chip or newer with support for next year's revamped version of Siri powered by Apple Intelligence, likely Apple's N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 support, improved sound quality, a second-generation Ultra Wideband chip for proximity features, and potentially new color options like Red.

Apple TV:
A faster A17 Pro chip that will support next year's revamped version of Siri powered by Apple Intelligence, and likely Apple's N1 chip with Wi-Fi 7 support. A built-in FaceTime camera has been rumored for a future Apple TV, but it is unclear if that will arrive with the next model specifically.

I hadn't considered the idea that I would have to upgrade these devices to have full Apple Intelligence support. I suppose that makes sense. Will the larger HomePods require upgrading too? The more important question will be what will Apple Intelligence wind up doing that would justify shelling out ~$1k for upgraded hardware.

I think everyone is waiting for the new AppleTV's. It would make sense that they release it just before Christmas. I am also hoping for something faster than GbE ethernet.

Having said that the last time they released an AppleTV this late was October 26, 2015. I think it must be announced next week or it isn't happening this year. It's getting too close to Black Friday & Christmas otherwise.

I’m curious about the smaller MacBook - not that I need it or will buy it now.
But I will really love it next time I need a new portable Mac.
My M3 MBA will however be fine for quite some time.

But good Apple, I’ve missed the smaller Macbook’s,

Its hilarious they removed the low battery life feature in Airtag 1 and reintroduce it as a new feature for Airtag 2. Sounds like degrading ANC on Airpods and bringing it back where it was in new versions. Claiming they improved ANC by 2 times.

Or highlighting the double tap feature in Series 9, while that feature was readily available since Series 6 under Accessibility.

Or claiming Stagemanager needed M-series to operate, but with "efficient updates" eventually came to older iPads.

And introducing Homepods but jinx it year after, but re-used stock components and removed and degraded the Wifi to sell as a new version.

Its not the products that generate revenue and profit, its the genius sleazy tricks that do.

Honestly it won’t be worth it anytime soon. Technically it should be possible to do Apple Intelligence via the web, but it might be slower.

Hopefully the new HomePods mini are compatible with the current ones. The current big HomePods are not compatible with the first gen ones because they changed the speaker placement.

Don't know whether there will be any new products. But will surely update to the next iOS version. Also looking forward to the new TV show. Seems interesting.

Pro Display XDR: hopefully the camera won't be the only improvement. After 6 years, I expect a lot more and hope Apple won't disappoint us.

I want a Mac Pro M3 Ultra. Hell, I want a Mac Pro M5 Ultra but right now I'd have to settle for a Mac Pro M2 Ultra.
This. I have decided I am going to buy a new Mac Pro. This is just taking forever for a meaningful update. I mostly work at a desk with my 14" M4 Max. I will sell that, put the funds toward a new Mac Pro and be happy. Maybe get one of those low cost MacBooks for on the go. I need the LLM GPU power of the ultra, but as a gamer, I also want ray tracing. Dropping $7000 to not even have ray tracing support when the $799 M4 MacBook Air at Best Buy has it is insane. Granted ill be buying one with more ram than base but you get the point :)

Tuesday better bring a new Apple TV to the faithful! The current 4k hardware really needs an update!
Pass-thru audio and DTS support would be awesome additions!
Hopefully, no stupid camera that no-one asked for!

It’s clear these products will be released before the end of the year. The holidays are right around the corner, which is typically Apple’s biggest sales period. If stock levels are dropping and not being replenished, Apple wouldn’t let that happen unless a refresh is imminent.
