Apple Thunderbolt vs Cinema (27")

Is there a difference in the picture quality???

Also how close is the picture quality between them and the 27" iMac screen

The TBD uses the same IPS panel as the iMac. I believe there was about a 1" vertical height difference between the two though.

pretty sure it is the same exact panel as the iMac, also take into account that the mini-display version of the cinema display will be more useful for other components (pc, ps3,xbox,blu-ray player) then the TB version.
